11-15 am on the Monday of Manx week finds Nigel, Sid and Myself on the new looking Albert Dock onboard the cat, pity was it was the wrong one, no explanation from the Steam Racket and no where to sit.
Rough seas and strong tides mean we have to be towed out of the harbour and at 10 past five we arrive in Douglas, not a pleasant crossing, made worse by the temperature onboard having no control and being to bloody hot.

The crossing should have told us something about the weather for the rest of the week.
Delays and postponements turned out to be the order of the week, damp and misty most of the time, the one race we did see we watched from the Goose Neck.

This was the sum total of the racing that we managed to see, Friday's racing was put of until Saturday but we were running petrol and such for Pete Salt, Les Burgess, Paul, Phil and Richard on Saturday and Sunday .
From a photographic point of view the weather was crap, to dark wet and damp, rubbish really.

As you can see not a lot of visibility.

End of the bikes, all the following are views of Peel or Castletown.

Just to show that the Viking does sail out of Douglas !!!

A little bit of mist on the mountain at Windy corner.
