Laptops are not my favourite method of computing , I can see all
of the advantages but the cost to performance
ratio never seems to add up.
Now with the advent of the power hungry VISTA and Microsoft
deciding that they will put it on everything
in sight I had to start a search
for something that was good value, reasonably
quick, had a decent amount
of hard drive space and at least
512 of ram but most of all no VISTA.
XP home or pro was going to be the order of the day.
